N.S. Striders Show Best Bang for the Buck at the Chelsea Chase 5K

By Mike Pelletier Rosie tried to recruit a large number of North Shore Striders to compete in the Chelsea Chase 5K, but on one week’s notice it was hard to get big numbers. Run for Ricey 5K

It’s projected to be a balmy spring day (perhaps with a passing April shower) for the first race in the NSS Grand Prix series this Saturday! The Third Annual Run for Ricey is to honor fallen Peabody Fire Fighter James Rice who tragically lost his life while fighting a house fire in his home town in 2011. All proceeds benefit the James Rice Memorial Fund. Last (Really) Long Run Before Boston

For most Striders training for the Boston Marathon, this past weekend marked the last 20+ mile training run.
