Wow!! Very impressive, Andy – congrats! That’s an amazing time for ANY marathon, let alone your first! Mile 24 somehow seems longer than the others, doesn’t it?
Thanks, Karen! Not only is mile 24 actually 5 miles long, but what’s up with the invisible Pygmies shooting lactic acid blow darts at unsuspecting runners!? That’s just not right.
Hmm, I suspect they’re related to the invisible creatures who keep moving the finish line. They are nefarious little mischief-makers, aren’t they?
Great race report!!!
What an excellent run, Andy, and a superb accounting of it. I love your tongue-in-cheek humor and your, if you’ll pardon the pun, take-it-all-in-stride attitude. You did a fantastic job on running and writing. Thanks for sharing and voicing thoughts that many of us have had and need to remember!
