NSS Super Veteran Men finish 3rd in USATF/NE Grand Prix

On Sunday August 9^th, on a cool, breezy morning, three 70+ North Shore Striders drove to Narragansett RI for the 5^th race in the USATF/NE Grand Prix, the New England 5M Championship, the Bobby Doyle 5M Summer Classic. Against some of the best runners in New England in a race with 663 finishers, Armand Claveau, Giuseppe Giannone (fresh off the injured reserve list), and Mike Pelletier finished as 3^rd Super Veteran team behind the NE 65+ Running Club and the Cambridge Sports Union.

Individually, Mike was 9^th/17 M70-99 in 44:21; Giuseppe was 12^th/17 M70-99 in 49:59, and Armand was 13^th/17 M7099 in 55:39.
