Temperature in the 80’s with a dewpoint of 74, made for some uncomfortable, dangerous running and a number of personal worsts at the 2016 Bobby Doyle 5M, the 2016 USATF/NE 5M Championship which was held today, August 14th in Narragansett, Rhode Island.
The North Shore Striders team of Rosie Kyes, Denise Young, and Annajean McMahon finished 9th in the Women Masters division.
The North Shore Striders Men’s team of Dave Newhall, George Geis, Mike Pelletier, and Armand Claveau finished 2nd in the Men 70+ Division.
