Writeup by Mariellen Hayward – A good showing of Striders at the Bridge & Back 10K in Salem. The weather was much more pleasant than on Tuesday for the race in Newburyport. Temps were in the high 70’s with a nice breeze for our 8:00am start. No matter what the weather is though, running over the Beverly/Salem Bridge (twice) is always a challenge. Five of the ten Striders managed to tough it out and place in their age groups! A job well done to all that participated. Next race on our calendar is Lynn Woods Relay on Wednesday 8/21 at 6pm.
