Chris McCarthy and Marian Sales did the North Shore Striders proud by placing in their respective March Races! Chris finished second in his age group at the Melrose Saint Patrick’s Day Run for the Gold with a super fast time of 00:20:54. Like a Leprechaun Laser he loped and legged and legged and loped! Marian, however, frowned upon such minor distances and instead ran the halfsie marathon over with the On The Run folks at Orchard Beach. She arrived third in her age group with a wee fantastic time of 02:12:00. Way to go ye Striders of the North Shore! “A way a lone a last a loved a long the… river run, past..,” or something like that and Lucky Charms!
