Lynn Woods Relay

Congrats to everyone who ran (and/or cheered) the 2014 Lynn Woods Relay, and especially to those who set new PRs for pizza eating! Grand Prix results have been updated. Please check your score and email me if you believe there are any errors. Following is a race report with thanks to Mike Pelletier:

Complete results are available at http://www.lwrun.org/ but here is a complete report of how we did as a club. The short summary is “Fantastic!” Pay careful attention to the Coed team, four fast, young Striders competing against adults and finishing 6th of 16 teams, but only 1:06 out of third place, in the largest division of the relay. In the Lynn Woods Relay, teams finishing first win Lynn Woods Relay hooded sweatshirts. Teams finishing 2nd and 3rd are awarded medals. The North Shore Striders fielded 11 teams out of the 100 entered. Six of our teams earned sweatshirts or medals. All forty-four runners did a fantastic job as did Anne who got everyone the right-sized tee-shirt and organized the pizza party. New relay racers are in bold.
