On Monday, June 30th, a long-time member of the North Shore Striders, Louise Rossetti passed away – just a couple of weeks after the 21st successful running of the Louise Rossetti 5K.
For those wishing to attend services, the wake is Monday, July 7th from 2-4PM and 6-9PM at the Bisbee/Portcella Funeral Home 549 Lincoln Ave. The funeral will be a 10:30AM mass on Tuesday the 8th at Blessed Sacrament. A touching obituary honoring Louise’s long and full life, as well as directions to the services can be found on the Bisbee/Portacella website.
Jill Page, the race’s director, wishes to thank the Striders so much for all of their help with the Louise Rossetti 5k, and adds that it was a blessing that Louise was able to attend. This race honors the memory Louise’s sweet daughter Suzanne, and recognizes a remarkable mother – Louise.
