All North Shore Striders who have paid by April 2 their membership dues for 2011 are eligible to compete in the series. As soon as you have paid your dues for 2011 and run in a NSS Grand Prix race, you will be placed on a team and receive points both as an individual and as a member of your team. Please remember that races run in the Grand Prix before you pay your dues do not allow you to accumulate points as an individual, nor will they place you on a team. All members of the first place team receive gift certificates at the Awards Banquet. Trophies are awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place individuals, both males and females, in each age group for the NSS Grand Prix. For individual age-group awards, points are awarded to each runner according to order of finish within each age-group. You may also pay on-line at no extra charge to you or, if you really are old-school, send a check to Krissy.

You must be registered as an individual athlete with USA Track & Field. The North Shore Striders will reimburse you for your USATF membership by crediting you as paid for 2012 as soon as you complete one race in the USATF/NE Grand Prix and indicate on your race application that you are competing for the NSS (Club #039). (The best part about joining USATF on-line is that there is no extra processing fee required to join on-line and you will have your membership number within minutes. When joining be sure to list your running club as the North Shore Striders, Club #039.)
